Reproductive Pathology Service

ATTENTION: Please expect a slight delay in reporting of cases during this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Any instances of extended delays will be communicated on a case by case basis.   Thank you for your patience and understanding!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING A NEONATAL POST-MORTEM

1.  Animals over 2 weeks of age will NOT be accepted.
2. Post-mortem evaluations can submitted if the post-mortem is performed on site and formalin fixed samples as well as frozen tissues are sent to the reproductive pathology service.
3. If you prefer to have the entire evaluation performed at OSU, please contact to make arrangements. Contact information can be found on the submission FAQ page. Submissions will not be accepted without prior communication and will be discarded on arrival.
4. Please refer to Submissions FAQ page prior to submitting an abortion or neonatal post-mortem.
